hi Guys, a have a problem

What OEM Gear & pinion ratio have in the RAM Estándar Cab 4x4 2010..???

Here at 7000 ft. my torque and HP are going down, I want to increase this changing the ratio whit a new gear & pinion

Data ..

I have LT Headers
Borla Exhaust
Hemifever tune
87 mm TB
Volant CAI
305/45/22 tires

I'm not sure my ratio Gear & pinion OEM, but at 7000 feet it is obvious that it lacks some torque ... What ratio would help me increase the torque but still functional to handle road

In advance thank you very much for your recommendations

Most likely 3.55, but it very well could be 3.92. Crawl under the rear axle on the driver side and look for a sticker, it'll say what ratio you have if it's still there.

I would do 4.56s with that size tire for the most torque and most fun

thank you very much bro! ... 7000 Ft my performance decreases about 25% maybe more ....

So 4.56 would be the best option ..?
tende no problems with my tranny ..?
the road driving will not bother ..?

Thank you ..!

Depends on the gear ratio you have now. If you have 3.92s now then 4.10s is not going to be enough of a difference to justify the cost, so that's why I recommend 4.56s. On the other hand 3.55s to 4.10s was enough difference for me at the time, but I knew I was gonna be dropping tire size so that bumped my it up 4.30 effective ratio. If you want all out performance over MPGs then definitely do 4.56s.

It'll lessen the load on the transmission, but it'll raise your RPMs a couple hundred and you might take a slight hit on MPG on the highway depending on speed. My MPG actually went up after going from 3.55s to 4.10s, but it went back down the same amount when I switched to shorter tires.

Gears are one of the best mods you can do for these heavy trucks drivability, it improves everything not just off the line performance.

Gear swap in a 4x4 is not gonna be cheap. You will have to do front and rear gears.

You need 4.56s then if you upgrade 4.10s will be a waste of money

gears and LSD are 2 different things. if you have a factory LSD then you will be fine, if not add that to the parts list as they will already be there and everything will be apart. That would be the cost effective/smart route. Matt
