Have you towed with this setup yet and are unhappy with it? 4.10 is already a pretty stout towing gear, since you’re not going up huge in tire size, and you’re well below your current max tow rating as it is, I personally don’t see the need to increase as drastically as you’re asking. But you’re the one that drives it, not me.
Not with a gear change, but there is with a tire change.I have read no Speedo calibration is required

Thanks that helps allot. I just ordered my leveling kit and helper bags and will order my 295/70/18 Falken AT on Monday. I will get that installed and see how it ties the trailer. The. I will move forward with gears. Most likely 4:88.
I will ask you the same question, do you feel you have the same power as stock?
I tow a 13k lbs 5th wheel with mine. I had 4.10 factory, and she did reasonably well for a gas engine towing heavy. However, a mentioned elsewhere, I now have 4.88 gearing. I have 34" tires, equivalent to the 295/70/18s you mentioned possibly getting.
I have yet to tow my rv, but towing small trailers it does well. Power wise, it feels the same there, but it runs in a higher gear now as opposed to stock. So lower rpms while cruising.
