I've been looking for a power wagon for the last few months, came across a 2018 (new not used) Tradesman with the power wagon package. It isn't exactly what i want, but i sense the dealer is desperate to get rid of it. Wondering what other guys have paid for them. I would rather have a regular power wagon but even used ones with 20-30k miles are going for like $46,000. Not to mention dealer is offering lifetime power train warranty, yes there is some fine print, but not bad.

Sticker is $51,000ish
With ram Rebates, they're aksing $44,900

So am i crazy to think i can pick this thing up for close to $36,000?

What have you guys paid for yours?

Out the door with the paintless dent warranty (lifetime), and future resale paint and interior warranty (5 year), I paid $66,000 plus it was shipped from Miami Florida to South Georgia. Also had every option except dual alternator and the upfitter module.

Yes, you are crazy to assume that a dealer with a leftover, low-volume model has advertised their vehicle with $8,000 worth of negotiating room.

Not sure how the dollars and cents add up, but I paid 49,950 for a left over 18 back in May. I believe the Msrp was just under 63k. Leather, moonroof, no push button start(wtf?) and no rambox. That was the deal before my trade. They gave me 21 for my '12 sport with 70,000 miles. It was in very good condition, but needed a new rear bumper because of rust. around 21 was what they were getting for comps in my area in the used market. I know that because of financing they can demand more of the used truck than a private seller, so there's a few bucks recovered right there. But I get confused on the cost paid per vehicle by the dealer. I know that the rebates are in there also, but basic math showed them losing money on the sale of my truck. I don't need for the dealership to lose money to feel good about a purchase, but I am skeptical of the invoice pricing that the dealer loves to show off.

Expect to pay a much higher price in areas of the USA in which a 4x4 or AWD are in a great demand due to both being a necessity and to state highway laws. Come some 9 months of winter conditions my wife's front wheel drive gets the snow tires when it's required, but we fully depend on the PW to get us back home in the Rocky Mountains where we live.

It would have been a fantasy to have paid as little as $36,000 for my used 2016 Tradesman PW when I purchased it 2017 some nearly 300 miles away. I paid more. They just don't give away a 2018 Power Wagon for $36,000 anywhere within a 500 mile radius around here.

sticker for my 19 power wagon was 65k, paid 55k after beating them up,

Did you have to finance through FCA? I can get $5-$6k dealer discounts in CA, but to get to $10k (I've even seen $11.5k), I would need to finance through FCA and pay their ridiculous APR for 4 months before a re-fi.

My window sticker was just under 63 and I got it for 55,400. I could have gotten another 1000 off but I elected to finance through Chrysler for 3 years at 0 percent.

I bought a new 2019 PW last week (Aug. 22nd). I traded two vehicles in on it so its hard to say what I actually paid. Its all about the difference. I went in with my numbers and data and negotiated until I got them to my numbers.

Here were my numbers going in. $34,900 (the middle kbb trade in value) for my two trade in's and $13,000 difference. That put me paying $47,900 for the truck. The MSRP on the PW was $59,005. I know its a numbers game with trade in's, but that's how I came out.

They were trying to play games by not telling me what interest rate i was getting. I was told to tell my insurance about the new truck and they gave me the lien holders name without a rate which i thought was crazy... I saw they had a promo on Ram.com about a 0% 36 month option, so i went with that. (After an argument with them because they said that wasn’t available on the 2019s but it actually was) Then they said i would loose about 1k in incentives if i went with the 0% option but i told them if i didn’t get that 1k off the price i was walking. so they ended up soaking it.
