I bought some used yukon 4.56 gears with 5k on them and now im trying to decide which differential to buy. I do mostly street driving and some highway. Im not sure how a full posi works on these trucks but i dont want it to always be locked. For example if i get on it i want to turn both wheels but if im turning at slow speeds or whenever actually i dont want my tires hopping bc they're locked. What do i need. Moes offers the auburn lsd for a little cheaper plus free shipping. Randys ring and pinion offer the yukon dura grip and im just not sure if its a full locker or lsd. What do i do?

The Auburn is a very streetbale unit that acts very similar to the factory LSD...but stronger. TruTrac is also streetable, but you will feel it lock on occasion with the wheel turned at full lock. They also raised their pricing at the beginning of the year, so this unit is more expensive. I dont have much experience with the Yukon unit, so I'm interested to see what others have to say about that one as well.

I got these used for $75. steal of a deal if i must say.
High performance Yukon Ring & Pinion gear set for '09 & down Chrylser 9.25" in a 4.56 ratio - YG C9.25-456
This is what i was considering.
Yukon Dura Grip for Chrysler 9.25" rear - YDGC9.25-31-1
Or this from moes. I got the link from randy's but moes has it cheaper plus free shipping.
Auburn Gear High Performance positraction for 1984 and newer Chrysler 9.25" - AG 542070-HP

After all that i think i have seen some people say that you have to do some modifications to the diff housing to make 4.56 gears work and fit properly.
