Guys I am looking to get a truck. My budget is 30,500 USD. I'm in Ontario Canada , so here that's 37,500$. (Cash deal ) - no financing.

Should I get used ? I'm looking at a 5.7 Hemi.

- towing boat on weekends

- 3 or 4 hunting trips in the Fall

- crew for dogs

other than that just around town.

I've owned Fords, Chevs, and a 96 Ram 2500 Diesel back in the day. Took them all out for a test drive past few months, and the Rams were the smoothest and most enjoyable rides of the bunch - IMO.

Hope I can get some good opinions on year, mileage and price.

p.s. There's a great 2015 Laramie Longhorn with 90 kilometers ( 54,000 miles) is that too high of mileage to start out with ?

Welcome to the forum.
We're all glad your here.
Its a great place to make new friends.

Now to answer your questions.
I bet you can get an new 18 Ram 1500 4x4 C/C in your budget.
I have a friend who works at our local Ram dealer that can get you what you want. They're having a blow out sale this weekend to get rid of the 18's.
I'll see him tomorrow morning.
I live in Denison Texas 75021
I can help you get the truck you want and probably some extra discounts too.
Look at my profile...
P.S. what colors are you interested in?
PM me for more help.

I Love my 18 Ram 2500 4x4 CC U.S.M.C.(ret) CPL

Go for the 54K mile Laramie you were talking about if it’s within your budget but I would highly recommend buying the longest Maxcare warranty you can afford in case you have problems in the future. Technically four model years have passed since then so the mileage isn’t really that high considering. You got a link or some pics so we the RAM faithful can check it out?

That 14 Ram looks like a badass truck and its loaded out too... I think you should jump on it. I'd bet money they'll take 30K out the door for it. Just make sure the exhaust manifold bolts have been replaced and by a good warranty too.
That truck won't last long!!! Better hurry

That doesn't look like too bad of a deal to me. Its a little more that 60K miles and its actually a 2014 and it looks like its still in good shape as near as I can tell. Also at roughly $25K American its well within your budget. I would still try to get them to come off the price some and/or throw in a good warranty(Lifetime Maxcare at a discount maybe?)

I like the black one. But ya never know until you go check them out, drive them, check mechanical etc. Overall looks, the black one wins for me.

Welcome to the Forum! Looks like you have a hard decision ahead of you, all 3 look like awesome Rigs. Definitely go drive all 3 and pick one then, but don't wait too long!! ;)

As far as the mileage. I was just shopping for a Rig the last couple months, and according to Carfax, the industry standard is 15,000 a year
