For vehicles without a lot of black plastic trim or stickers I like Nu Finish. It’s been around a long time, and if you watch the tests where detailers have compared it to other products it outlasts conventional waxes and sealants. Ceramic outlasts it of course but that’s another level of investment.

For vehicles like my PW with decals or my Jeep with black plastic trim I like Meguires Ultimate Fast Finish. Very fast and easy to apply. Not as durable as NF but it leaves no white residue.

Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax. Super easy to apply and it works well. I used to be a paste wax guy but I'll never go back after using that.

If in fact, you are "lazy" as you said, my suggestion would be you either look to a sealant or a ceramic coating. The reason I say this is because most "waxes" will only last for about 2-4 weeks(the exception is Collinite 845 which will last about 6 months), whereas a sealant will last about 6 months and a true ceramic coating will last a matter of years. Asking a group of guys which wax they like the best is like asking which beer they like the best, your gonna get lots of different answers. You might take a look at "autopia" which is a worldwide detailer site. They have write-ups on various products and give opinions on different products.

Meguiars Tech Wax 2.0 for when I break out the Porter Cable. Aerolon Tech Shine for the wet applied method.

I use eagle one nano wax most of the time or turtle wax express shine carnauba. Sometimes I layer one or the over. Generally get 4 to 6 weeks of beading. Can get around the truck in about 15 minutes after its washed and dried.
