My lie-o-meter works pretty good. I track every tank & mile and assuming my odometer is correct I get around 21-22 mpg overall. I can get 28 mpg on the highway as long as I control my right foot and there are no mountains involved.

Got 24 mpg highway on my last trip through the mountains. Around 200 miles round trip. Which is the best I've got so far.

In city its more like 14-15. But my average trip is like 2 miles so the truck is never even warmed up before I turn it off. If I drive all the way across town and back or something it will be closer to 17

Avg hand cal 11.6
EVIC 12.0

This is 95% city driving during rush hour. Lots of lights, lots of slowing to 10-20 mph then speed up to 35, then back to 15-20.

weekends with mostly hwy I can hit about 14 on the evic. On out of town trips, about 16.2 on the EVIC

EVIC gets me from 17.5-18.5 and it's way off normally

Actual MPGs amongst the last few fillups

IMG_3301.JPG
My best mpg on one tank was 16.7

I drive 85% highway . On the way to work I drive 75-80 and on the way home 68-72

2014 HEMI 5.7. 3.92 rear end crew cab
34x11r20 Toyo RTs
Hemi Fever 93 tune, Vararam intake, borla muffler

A bit disappointed with the MPG numbers but I'm tempted to try P rated tires with this setup but I don't think the cost of them would justify swapping them out. Plus I'm sure the truck would get a bit faster too losing an inch in diameter and 20 pounds per tire

Average on the display shows 21.5 usually but it bounces around. Mix of city and highway, about 70 percent highway. I've hand calc'd at nearly 23. 2014 1500 with Hemi.

That seems a bit low. I was getting 14-15 only going around town under 40mph. I did have a 6" lift, 35's and tune + intake.

Are you hand calculating the mpg?
What kind of tires?
Quad or crew cab ?
I think I do my damage going 78 on the highway in the mornings

Any upgrades that can improve my mileage? How trustworthy is the mileage computer? Tried running 93 octane for several tanks but don't see an improvement. This winter it was reading 10 to 11. I also noticed the computer mileage drops quickly during winter war ups. All of you guys seem to doing much better than me and I have just a regular cab!

my mileage is calculated by the app on my phone. I input all the numbers, and it does the magic. I'm not relying on the DIC for avg mpg. I'm using the aCar app (android).

When I had my '13 Hemi I would compare non-ethanol to standard 87 octane with ethanol. The non-ethanol usually gave me 1-2 more MPG's, it didn't matter the octane rating as long as there was not any ethanol added. Usually the higher octane ratings do not have ethanol but not always.

As for the winter warm ups? Well the my old Hemi sucked down the gas warming up too. It would drop a half mile per gallon average just warming up for 5 minutes. Now with the Eco D. I can let it run for 10 minutes and it might drop a tenth. There's simply a lot more friction in a gas motor than a diesel. Can't get away from that.

Increasing you mileage? Full length running boards can help. Typically it's driving style obviously limiting the idle warm up times but also making sure you are coasting to stops was a huge factor in my Hemi.
