Whats normal?

I just installed my 7" EVIC and I'm having issues with intermittent parking light failure warning. I understand this is fairly common, especially with LED's, but I'm running standard incandescent bulbs. With the marker lights on, if I apply either the brake or turn signal, the marker element goes out and I get the warning. Is it normal for the marker element to go out? It doesn't seem right, but I never checked with the 3" EVIC installed.

I just fixed it! It was NOT the socket, but the wiring in the truck harness. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here you go! Any questions, hit me up.
