There is a TON of info out there already (been though 5 pages of search results) but it's a little murky on the 2015+ trucks.

Backstory: Bought a Morimoto HID kit and the adapter harnesses (Dual large Resistor models) for Headlights and Taillights late last year. There seemed to be some upcoming new stuff right around the corner so I held off on installing the kits as I'm worried about mounting 6 huge resistor packs in my truck and melting stuff.

Here we are 8 months later and I don't see much now searching around. Is the resistor pack way of doing things still the way to go or is there a flash code (dealer) to make these work with out the packs? Is there a better pack/harness out there for these kits?

I have an 2015 SLT with the Laramie projector housings and 35W Moriomoto kit. Laramie Taillights and Retroshop adapter harnesses for both ends. I'd hate to go through all this if there is a better option out there now.

Mopar isn't going to change their setup. Everything is monitored now. Reason for the resistors is to fake the system out. Sooo you will never know a light is out without physically checking.

Ooorrrr since you have a 2015 go beg the stealership and pay an arm and leg to put in the LED options into your truck. Us per 2013-14's before the Factory LED option will always need resistors. I have OEM LED tails and I have resistors. Also for my front turns too.
