Hello,
Bought a new to me 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie last week. This is my 4th ram. My first was a 2wd 1999 318ci ext cab. I bought it to haul my motorcycle around, really loved that truck. Had a 2014 5.7 2wd that my son wrecked (not his fault), and a 2019 5.7 4wd that I traded for a Jetta Sportwagen in 2021 because I had $10k in equity and figured that would never happen again.

Think I will keep this one for a while. It’s definitely the nicest of the lot and while I didn’t have pristine mx records, the proof was in the pudding. Very clean, no leaks. I changed the rear diff fluid 2 days ago and was pleased that the fluid still looked really good. Very little sludge that I only saw because I fished it out with a toothbrush. I had some Royal Purple 75w90 and could only get 2.5qt in there before it leaked out. Made sure to mark the diff and drain plug with a paint pen.

I did put fresh oil and filter the day before I did the diff. Oil looked pretty good as well.

Next maintenance chore is to clean, descale the coolant. And I’d like to do the transmission too.
