Hi im a new guy first post. My Dodge is a 2004 1500. I have the 5.9 gas engine. Dont anyone tell me they didnt have the 5.9 gas in 2004 because i have one since new. I have an almost new set of 18 inch tires I want to install but actually have been told l like the stock 16 inch wheel style. Does anybody know if 18 inch wheels from a different year will fit?

Should fit without any issues. Throw one on before getting tires mounted to be safe.

Show me the build sheet, cause I'm gonna tell you the factory didn't build a 5.9 gasser in 2004 lol :)

Need a minimum 17" wheel to clear your front brakes (which is why the 3rd gens didn't come with 16's). Any 3rd to 4th gen wheel from a 1500 will fit, just use your original lug nuts (or better yet, upgrade to a solid, like Gorilla or some such).

Mines a 2003 with 22" and lowered so I don't see why they wouldn't fit as long as the lug patterns the same, there's even a fix for that too?
