I was wondering if i put Fuels Krank 20x9 Rims on my 2014 1500 with off-road tires if it would cause issues with rubbing or would i have to lift the truck or level it for clearance? I'm not a fan of lifting 1/2 tons the most i would ever do is level it. Also if i level it would i have to get an alignment done.

I just joined the forums yesterday, saw the wheels on fuels website and after seeing pics and videos of them on rams figured might as well get them just can't find one with a ram in dark red cherry like mine

All depends on the size of the tire. 20x9 wheels fit fine, you can go with 1mm offset or -12mm offset depending how much tire you want sticking out passed the fender.

If you're leveling it, I wouldn't go any bigger than a 295/60r20. You may be able to pull off a 35x12.50 with the right offset.

I had Kranks on my Jeep, they're nice wheels. A PITA to clean with all of the holes between the spokes though, invest in one of those small wheel brushes.

Would I run into any problems with leveling? Been reading on how the upper control arms going or the ball joints from it. Also is ready lift a good brand? Was thinking about going with their billet aluminum level kits with their billet upper control arm and heavy duty off road suspension steering kit

Bladez,

what size tire do you wanna run ? thats gonna be the deciding factor it sounds like.

assuming your run stock tires for example... 1mm offset will push your rims out slightly over factory rims. -12mm offset will have your rim / tire sticking about 1" - 1.25" outside of the fender.

im currently running 20x9's w/ -13mm offset on stock 275/60/20's

I'd like to pretty much have it stock, maybe an inch or so out of fenders. I think the law where I live is it can't stick out more then an inch from fender due to throwing mud on streets etc. I'm not looking for giant tires etc as its my DD. Was wanting tires that's good for roads/winter/ the odd off-roading.

If you level, I recommend getting new upper control arms since yours is a 2014. I did Zone arms and HBS 2.5" spacer.

For the look that you want assuming your truck is 4x4, I'd go with Bilsteins set at 2.1" with 295/60R20 and the 20x9 1mm. Like super trooper mentioned, the 2014s have bad UCAs but you can get some movetech UCAs from rockauto.com for a lot cheaper than zone.

Edit: Sounds like you want an aggressive A/T tire. I have Toyo AT II on my Ram and I highly recommend them. In the 295/60R20 size they have an aggressive thread and look much better than standard A/T tires.

I had the Nitto Terra for a bit in stock size. They were better than the stock tires but I think you can do better.
