Hey, I'm putting on a Rough Country 4" suspension lift and I'm looking into what wheels/tires to buy but I'm trying to avoid any rubbing if possible. I also already have fender flares so I'd like to have a negative enough offset to at least come to the edge of the flares.

I want to get 20x10 wheels with 35x12.5 tires. Is anyone running those with a -12 or -24 offset? Rough Country suggested at least 5.5 backspacing which would mean 0 offset.

Thoughts, opinions, experiences, photos?

Many people are running just Bilsteins at 2.8 with those offsets and 35s. I'd think you'd be fine. Worst case scenario would be very minor plastic fender liner trimming, but I seriously doubt that. I have Bills set at 2.8 with 33s and have a LOT of extra room.

You should be fine with those specs...

I'm on the same size wheels and tires with a -19ET offset and I don't rub at all, and that's only on a 2.1" Bilstein 5100 level... You'll be two inches higher in the front and four inches higher in the rear.

These are what I'd like to get but a mechanic friend recommended -24 might be too much, not just for the rubbing but the stress on the suspension and joints as well.
Rough Country also recommended 5.5 backspacing (0 offset).

It's a fairly new truck, my daily driver, and I like to take long road trips occasionally, so I'm just being extra cautious not to mess anything up for the long run before I make a decision.

So basically where I'm stuck at right now is -12 offset or -24?

You should be fine with either. The -24mm offset will only stick our 12mm farther then the -12mm offset (about 1/2 inch).
