When are the New Regular Cabs arriving?

Hello Everyone,
I'm keeping my old Ram 1500 going until the new regular cabs come out but my local dealer does not have any solid information when they will be out. Has anyone seen information on the New 2 door 1500 Short bed Models? Thanks!

My best guess is the 2020 model year at the soonest. Now that they're running the 2019 Classic (4th Gen) along side the 5th gen I'd bet they'll beat that horse as long as the sales will allow. From what I understand they are just making the lower-end trims just until they can get 5th gen production up to speed. I would imagine they have the least amount of profit wrapped into those trucks so they'll likely be the last to make an appearance.

I would imagine it depends on what the EPA does as far as rolling back fuel economy standards. There was a discussion on one of the other boards as how the Obama EPA basically regulated the regular cab short bed out of existence. It's not only FCA, if you notice there are very few regular cab short beds around from any manufacture.
