definitely get the second ones. I have the first ones and they are a piece....hate 'em. worked great and i liked 'em fro the price for about a month, now the cheapness of them are shining through. one of the lenses actually fell off pulling into a buddies driveway, half the LEDs don't work now, but will occasionally flicker. very disappointed in them. I wouldn't use any other word besides "junk" to describe them. I've put LED tail lights in alot of rigs, and i've always used the full LED tail light set up, this time i was running low on funds and figured "well hey, they aren't that bad looking and might work out great" i was dead wrong. My other big beef with them, is they built 'em so the reverse light goes all the way up top. which means with a lifted truck sitting on 35s....the light does jack squat for you. Nothing but bad things to say about the first ones....
