Whine with Ignition in Accessory Mode?

When I put my truck in Accessory mode, not running (e.g.: to listen to the radio), I get a loud whine from the engine compartment.

Can't figure out what is causing this, have had it since day one.

Anyone else notice this?

Do you have factory HIDs? My car has them and until I click the lights off there is a whine.

How loud is loud?

Can you hear it with the radio on? A whine is some sort is normal, as it is on many cars and trucks from the last few years, but I wouldn't call it loud.

Can you record a video with sound and put it on YouTube or something?

No HIDs. You can hear the whine ~25' to 30' away from the vehicle, just can't seem to pinpoint it in the engine compartment.

That sounds like it's a bit louder, and probably a different whine than the one I'm thinking of. Not sure what that would be.

It's a Limited, so who knows what it is. There are so many gadgets and accessories on this thing it can be anything.

Must say, I use them all though!
