First Dodge for me. I traded in a Honda Civic that I bought new in 2007 because I had a 120 mile round trip every day commute for work. The Civic was going strong with 177,000+ on the odometer. Now I have a fifteen minute drive!
Traded in a 2005 Z71 for the Civic. Loved and hated that truck because it stayed in the shop too much. My favorite was when I was on a trip, 200 miles from home, and it decided to not only shift itself into 4 high, but stay there until I drove it to the dealer. Another trip, 6 hours away from home and the rear extended cab doors did not want to open. I had to climb into the back and pitch my luggage out through the front seat. Embarrassing for a relatively brand new truck.
Don't remember the odometer reading, but it was still under warranty.
I kept my 94' F150 that I had since high school for a while when I had the Civic. I sold it to a family member that needed a vehicle. The truck was in fair cosmetic condition. The interior and radio had seen better days, but the truck had less than 150,000 on the odometer. Family member decided to start modding the truck and eventually their mechanical prowess did not equal longevity for my former F150. RIP ole Ford, you were a good one.
Both my grandfathers had Dodge trucks. My dad actually still has one of them that he uses as a farm truck.
I bought my used 2015 Big Horn with a 5.7 last month. It had 22000 miles on the odometer and I got a really good deal on it. So far I am absolutely smitten with it. Looking forward to many years of service out of this one.
