why 2004 ram 1500 no recall gas tank strap?

my 2004 dodge ram 1500 just broke due to rusted away to nothing...live in snowy salt area...
ive owned many very used crappy high mileage old cars in my lifetime and have never had a rusted away fuel tank strap...why are they not made of stainless steel or much thicker steel?...it seems they are very thin and this is why rusted away...from salt....if using thin cheap steel...i think there should be minimum 4 straps so if 1 breaks you wont have catastrophic even...when only 2 are present if 1 breaks it will be trouble.

You are correct however I'm very old and have always lived in rust belt and always have owned old cars...15-25yrs old and none have ever failed....this dodge ram is notorious for poor design and rust....my rear wheel wells are almost non existent on this ram....my rear tailgate rusted off too....it's a dodge ram improperly engineering issues....critical parts that are exposed to elements and or regularly fail due to rust should be made of a diff material such as stainless steel.

do anybody know if the 2004 dodge ram 1500 rear gas tank strap mount ...is it a bolt or stud?
it appears there is a bolt head on top and i need to cut off since its rusted solid....somebody said stud...but i believe its a long bolt.
