F$#@ YEEEEESSS. Just found the letter from 2018. LOVE YOU GUYS.I had the strap replaced on my 2017 last year. No cost to me. I got the letter years ago, filed it away. Brought it to the dealer, no issues.

Also, ironically enough, at the same time the bracket broke (with about 20 gallons of gas in it), bolts on the right side exhaust also broke that they are claiming the strap breaking didn't cause. I didn't look yet but considering everything else was fine until then. Any thoughts?
Thanks,

I have a 2017 1500 Laramie, I received a letter 6 years or so ago regarding the staps being replaced free of charge. If you have not done so, log into Uconnect, enter your VIN and see what they have listed. Dealerships make mistakes!!!Hello, I have a 2016 RAM 1500 5.7 with 95k. Bought it brand new. Last week, noticed fuel strap rotted out of frame rail causing fuel tank to droop. Took it to a friend's shop and fastened with ratchet strap. Called dealer where I bought truck, they said my year and VIN are not part of the recall or TSB. Evidently there is a recall for earlier model years - Safety Recall U04 / NHTSA 18V-160 Frame Bracket. I shouldn't have to pay for the repair if it is a known issue. Any suggestions?
