Why trucks get overloaded

This article is just one of so many reasons why people get too much camper and don't realize it. The article goes on about how this is the perfect camper for a 1/2 ton truck, even the title falsely claims it, then hits with the dry weight of almost 1,600 pounds near the end of the piece. My eyes rolled so much at the next sentence that directed people to load it up to the max of the PC, that I had to crank them all the way around to get back to seeing. For most of the 1/2 tons out there I imagine this camper meets or exceeds maximum PC leaving nothing for people, gear, or the expected boat trailer.
