I’m hoping I can get some help here because I feel like I’m losing my mind. I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Sport and when I let off the throttle at highway speeds the trucks wiggles/pulls side to side as the rpms drop. It then does the reverse when I get back on the throttle.

This only happens at highway speeds. If I put it into -/+ shifting mode and select 4 it still does it but not as severely.

I’ve taken it to the dealer and they though it was a bad U joint and replaced it but that did nothing.

Any ideas? Bad bushing? Engine/tranny mount?

It makes the truck feel straight up dangerous at highway speeds. Thanks!

I have a similar issue and I think it's the lower rear control arm. Mine is a little bit worn and there is some side to side play in it. I plan on replacing them soon. I don't think you can just replace the bushings, you have to replace the arms in pairs.

I would inspect your control arms like Loudram suggest and if those look good I would then look at your panhard bar mounts for play

Put the truck in park on a level-ish surface, have someone rock it back and forth (just pushing it) , watch for movement in the control arm mounts/bushings.
