Will a dually bed fit a non dually truck

Ive been looking for a rust free long bed and I can't find a non dually one, so my question is will a dually bed fit a non dually truck minus the flares of course

Keep the flares and buy some 17x16 rims

Yes, it will fit. You might be able to cut the flares off and put some wheel arches in with a bit of creativity and bondo, or just get the wheels and spacers off the parts truck and convert it to a dually. Or just live with a wacky looking bed I guess

It always strikes me how some regions can be devoid of parts that other regions are swimming in. SRW longbeds all over here on the west coast. Dually ones (with intact flares) demand a kings random.

I put a flatbed on my W250 (with removable sides).

The wheel wells are cut out for the flares so turning it into a single wheel would not be worth it. I'd just keep looking.

Seems easy to me to remove the flares and live with the oversized wheel wells.

I'm sure those flares would sell on their own.

Attached is the dimensions of the 8' box used on the Gen4 truck (DS/DJ body). The same bed is also used on the '19 to present HD trucks but the tailgate hinges and latches(also electric)are different.
