Will a leveling kit effect overall height of truck

I have an 05 quad cab 4x4.....i use it for work often which includes offroading to cell sites and city duty too...i go in a lot of parking structures and therefore don't want my over all height changed as its already too high for some parking structures.....

My question is....i really need more front ground clearance that a leveling kit would provide...if i do this will it raise the over all height...or will it just bring the front of the roof up to the height that the back of the roof Is already at..not sure if anyone had examined this this closely

It will bring the front of the roof up more but the rear will come up some as well

Yes it will be a little taller

To save some money since you. Have an 05 you don't need to buy anything. Just crank your torsion bars

Thanks guys I have heard mixed results about just cranking up the stock stuff but guess its worth a try...just aligned the thing too damnit

The alternative is to buy a lift kit or a body lift which will raise the front and back.

It will raise it up some but you will definitely get enough clearance all the way around that you will need. My 07 still fits in my garage at home without any troubles so should be ok.
