Looking at making some additions to my audio in my truck. I currently have an amp connected to the factory non-alpine 6 speaker system with the 8.4 radio. Currently I am just using a LOC, but would like to expand my system to amplify the door and dash speakers.

I just need to know if I should go with a LC7i or can I use the PAC AP4-CH41. I know the AP4-CH41 costs a bit more but would make the install much easier.

Thanks!

Go with the PAC piece. It gives you plug and play accessibility and also a flat full range signal without adding a summing unit..

I have already replaced the dash and door speakers, added a loc to connect sub amp and put a 10in sub under rear seat.

A while ago I swapped the factory radio for aftermarket but I had too many issues with the iDatalink Maestro (dash lights would never turn off) so I pulled it and went back to the factory radio.

Now I am looking at adding an amp for the door and dash speakers and don't really want to add two more locs for those channels. I was hoping the PAC would work, but it appears it won't. So I think I will go with the LC7i just to make things a little cleaner.
