Wire mesh grille inserts for the 2018 ram 1500 sport

Is it possible to remove the grille inserts on the 2018 ram 1500 sport by unlatching them like you could on the 2017 and older models or is the grille all one piece? I really like the 2018 sport grille but I was hoping to replace the horizontal slats with wire mesh inserts. Also, is there anyone who makes wire mesh inserts for the 2018 ram 1500 sport? Everywhere I've looked, all that anyone has are inserts for the 2009-2017 models or other trim models besides the sport and other trims with similar grilles in the 2018 model year.

Yes you can take them apart and change the inserts.

Ok thanks and again, what I'm trying to do is keep the stock look of the grille but have wire mesh inserts. Basically, I want to change the look from this:

Actually, customcargrills.com has wire mesh sheets that you can just cut to fit and are much cheaper than a grille insert, so I may just go with that.

Grillcraft black wire mesh on my 2018 Bighorn.

They also have the same with stainless finish. I removed the horizontal chrome slats like everyone else does. Lined up the mesh grill into the chrome crosshair, drilled the holes per the instructions used the supplied hardware and done.

I went with the Grillcraft also same as OC455,I bought the wire mesh from customcargrills,didn't work out too good,had to put the rubber around the mesh to stop scratching and mounting was a problem,I advice you not to go that route.I made a nice bumper insert though from the customcargriil mesh.
