So I have quit a bit of accessories I want to add such as puddle lamps, bed lights, interiors leds etc. saw a write up about splicing into wires to get it to work.

Questions one: why would you add another fuse box for accessories?

Questions two: if I did add a fecond fuse box for power what would tell these accessories to turn on? Or is it like a ground?

Questions three: so let's say I wanted puddle lights LEDs to turn on when I pressed unlock would I just splice into rear cabin light. Or would it some how splice into that and then run to a second fuse box.

I'm so confused but eager to learn. Can't find any YouTube vids really explaining this. :)

You're in luck. I've done all that. Build thread: http://www.ramforum.com/f41/bed_lig..._mount_reverse_light_install_pic_heavy-66687/

To answer your questions:

1. You would add another fuse box as every accessory you add needs fused as close to the power supply as possible. The easiest and neatest was to do thesis to add another fuse box versus having a bunch of wires with fuse holders.

2. Your second fusebox would have both power and ground busses. To turn on the accessories you would use either a switch, a relay triggered by some OEM function, or a combination.

3. follow the wiring digram in the build thread above.

I'm more than happy to answer any questions.

Well PMs are great, but in some cases... it's nice to read questions and answers, so we can all learn too :)
