Hello Ram Forum,
I have a 2013 Ram R/T with only 4,192 miles that my father bought new, he passed away in Oct 2018 and I've had a few people who are really, really interested in buying the truck but I don't know what to tell them for a price. I've looked on KBB and don't know if that's an accurate gauge of the vehicles value in like NEW condition and there aren't many used ones that have sold recently and those that did have a ton more miles. The truck has a cold air kit although I have the original air box and a ARE bed cap installed since new. The truck is spotless inside and out as you would expect with only 4192 miles, If anyone has a good idea of the true value... please let me know what you think.
thanks,

First off, sorry for the loss of your father. Second off I must say this is honestly a collectors item. Personally I'd ask no less than $35,000 to $40,000. But it may take a little while longer to find a buyer, but again this is pretty much a museum piece.

Thanks for your input..both of the people interested want to make it just another driver and in my opinion destroy the uniqueness of having such a "like new" truck that's been stored in a climate controlled building and obviously only taken out on special occasions. The sentimental part of me has a bit of an issue with the quality of care given to it once I sell it since I will continue to see the truck from time to time. As far as pricing, there both around the $25K mark which is what blue book is.

Trucks only worth what somebodies willing to pay for it. Start at 35,000,if you get no bites you'll have to lower your price. If you're worried about how it'll be treated after you sell it,"Don't sell it". After you sell it,it's not your's to worry about anymore.
Throw it up on a couple of the Ram pages on facebook.

I completely understand where your coming from but the lowest mileage Ram 1500 R/T 2013 for sale in the country that I could find as of 04/23/2021 is in California with almost 9,000 miles and its priced at $34,995. So your fathers R/T is at least worth that being the last year of the 6 speed R/T (console shifter) and being Rams "Muscle Truck". Now if you where willing, I'd say it could possibly do very well at auction and get sold to a collector on BringATrailer, Mecum, or even Barret-Jackson just as long as you have a reserve (but you'd have to pay fees). Also, when it comes to extremely low miles or rare options KBB, Edmunds, or Blackbook will not give you the accurate value. But best of luck too you selling and I hope you don't undervalue it being a collectors item at this point.

That is a sweet ride. Ask what you want for it, don't lowball it unless necessary.

Of course you will always get people trying to lowball you. Don't take their ****, tell them where to go.

Also, if it is too hard to let her go, and you can afford to keep her, do it. Enjoy her, cherish her.

Best of luck in getting what you want, and sorry for your loss.

First of all, I wouldn't sell it because I love these trucks and they are getting harder and harder to find. I have a 2015 model and plan to keep it the 20 or so years that I hopefully have left to live. But if I were someone that did want to sell as it appears you do,I'd ask $45,000.00 and wouldn't let it go for under $40. I wish I had the money because I'd give you $45 for it right now!!!

Keep it, it’s worth more to you than the dollars you’ll get.

@bayukbros
Maybe you should resend it in a Pm and then delete your number from this thread. It's public.

I got my dad’s 1983 Lincoln Towncar when he passed years ago. It had 44,000 miles and was beautiful with no issues. They were on the lots for $2500 or so and I got $4000 for it when I sold it.

I have always totally regretted selling it. The guy I sold it to said it was a birthday gift for his dad….he was a used car dealer and sold it to and older woman. I wanted to buy it back but when I found it, she had wrecked it and destroyed the beautiful leather interior. I have been sad ever since. Keep the truck for nostalgia and you won’t have any regrets.
