i says its a bumper cover, like the sport, and i wanted to put this over my existing one, seeing how that one is plastic.

If you have just the basic slt metal bumper, it should. You will have to remove the plastic painted piece on the top of the bumper and the black plastic part on the bottom and it should just mount right up. I am eventually going to do this with my truck as well.

hey I was wondering how that worked? I have an 08 Laramie but the bumper has bad road rash on it and I want a solid bumper without the chrome. Where did you get it?
