Hello Everyone!!

Having a problem and need some help! I changed the rear end on my 2000 1500 2wd ext cab 6.6 bed 139 WB-rear drum brakes to a Rebuilt 2005 limited slip with disc brakes and im having a hell of a time getting the right lenght emergency brake cables. Has anyone gone through this before? I have tried most cables in the 2nd gen from 1500 and 2500.

What is the exact length of your original 2000 model emergency brake cables?

Have you measured them? You should measure from end to end for the overall length and then measure just to cable sheathing.

It has been quite a few years since I have performed this exact swap but IIRC I used the emergency brake cables from a 2001 Ram 3500 QCLB. I want to say the left side cable measure 47" and the right side cable measures 110"
