Is that crazy? would i be crazy to pay that? I think I would be embarrassed to tell people how much. but, dang... I'd love to have it.
I'm trying to use my best judgement, lol

Man, I am a sucker for the 2006-2008 DR trucks. In the grand scheme of things if you want it and can afford it if say go ahead and pull the trigger before I figure out where it's at and go buy it. Haha. Good looking regular cab.

hahahaha... I know. Its been on the market for about 5 months, I'm guessing because the price. I'm going to check with my credit union tomorrow and see if they will entertain the thought of financing it.

I can't believe it sat that long even at the current price. That thing is super clean.

I would sit on it wait for the price to drop no one is going to be paying 25k for that even tho its nice make sure you question how the mile are so low as its not hard to turn the OD back on these older trucks id look at the carfax if you havent.

^This.
Check with Carfax, and maybe also with Kelly Blue Book, IMHO they want too much.

I bought my 2014 Laramie Quad Cab with 22,000 verified miles on it in 2017 as a Certified Previously Owned (CPO) and still under the balance of the factory warranty.

This window sticker was still in the glove box and showed the original price of $49,995. I paid $30,000 out the door and got an extra 6 months and 10,000 miles added to the factory warranty.

The truck was first sold in March of 2015, then I bought it in July 2017 after sitting on the lot for over 4 months. Both Kelly and Carfax listed the value at $39,000 when I bought it for 30k.

Perhaps you can negotiate a more reasonable deal if you are armed with similar information.

Nice unit condition wise but way over priced. Not a collector vehicle and with a standard cab, not a big seller either. I might pay 12-15,000 for that here in Canada but no more.

It "feels" expensive but they could eventually find the right buyer. I would pay 20K if something I really wanted. Slim chance you will find another in that condition.

Do need to temper your excitement a bit. I purchased a 98 GMC 4 year ago with 70,000 miles on the odometer. Motor is strong but every rubber hose has been changed. Countless other items that deteriorated with age. 06 is almost 20 years ago.

No way, that truck is at least $12-15k+ over priced... It's nice, but it's still a 18 year old truck and it's not a rare collectible.

If you decide to pull the trigger, make sure all the fluids are brand new. Keep us posted on the results.

I couldn't do it, I made him an offer... he said "Its the only one like it in the country" so he doesnt want to budge on the price. I'm moving on. I told him it is a nice truck and I'm sure the right buyer will come along.

Good call. His ask is half of a brand new standard cab. Should be able to get one a year or three old with the same miles for that price.

There is an @$$ for every seat and he'll find a buyer at some point. However, I would say you're making the right choice to pass.

More classic body style IMHO. More useful cab. Easy to drop a new crate motor in if it needs it....

Found it while online cruising for Broncos/Blazers/Ramchargers and it's pretty sweet looking.

https://www.carsforsale.com/vehicle/details/94273145 shame these went through the roof...
