One day about 3 weeks ago it started to misfire I did plugs and wires because the plugs were burnt right off shocked it ran at all lol. Now it idles really rough and chugs really bad at hwy speed only between 1300 and 1600 rpm otherwise fine at hwy speed until today it started back firing and dying at hwy speed and is spraying fuel out the exhaust any help would be awesome...:worthy:

You have a cylinder that is not firing. Go back and look over the work that you just did.

How many miles on the truck?

I would do a compression check and read the plugs to help determine which cylinder is not firing. I would also mainly because it is a 04 check the valve springs just for peace of mind.

Any codes? Maybe a compression test would tell if you have a weak cylinder.

I think it may just be the valve was not operating the cylinder was full of fuel and crap no codes and starts with a click of the key I changed those 2 plugs again and it is no longer spraying fuel out the exhaust. It is also no longer misfiring.

Weak batteries can cause all kinds of problems.
This what I found with a search.
P0300 Dodge Cylinder Misfire Fault Detected Random Cylinders OBDII Engine Light Trouble Code | Engine-Codes.com

I would charge the battery and freshen all of the grounds to start with. Check fuel pump, it runs for 3 seconds on start up and then the ASD relay shuts off the pump and voltage to the injectors and coils if the crank sensor doesn't sense the engine rotating (running). I'd check the electrical connections and sensors. Good luck.

I would guess you didn't get the injector plug connected properly. I would unplug and inspect the pins before sticking back together.

Good luck..

Can you see anything wrong with the push rod? Is it's length the same as the others? Is this a 5.7 push rod? Could it be a soft spring allowing the push rod to jump?
