I'm new here and could really use some help. My 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi is in limp mode. It starts and remains running. No stalling, but idles rough. Several Codes: U1424-Implausible Engine Torque Signal, U0140-Communication Lost with Body Control Module and P1002-Slow Ignition Key Off Timer Performance. It's a push button start and dial shifter. The ESC Off indicator light is on, check engine light is on and the Electronic Throttle Control light is flashing. I am hoping for a simple fix, but my research is telling me its not. ANY help or advice is needed and much appreciated.

Those codes indicate a loss of communication with the BCM. The BCM is located in the driver side footwell.

Make sure the connectors there are in-place, undamaged and that the wires aren't cut, spliced or otherwise damaged. I've accidentally disconnected the BCM plug with my boot before.

Also, look under the hood at the backside of the firewall, where the wires pass through into the cab, and look for any damaged wires or connectors.

Hey Ken226

Thanks for the anser. Today I had a look at the wires and connectors. I unplugged al the connectors and inspected them. As far that I can see all of them and the wires are good. No damage or corrosion.

The problem is not fixed after reinstaling everything.

Any other suggesties I can try out?

Were you able to clear the codes before checking all the wires? I would double check all wiring again. Even fuse box connections.
