I have brand new Limited Longhorn with a wrinkled drivers seat. Stellantis denied the warranty claim. Said maybe my wallet is too fat. This is on a vehicle with only 1500 miles. Even the sales guy admitted it was a clear defect. Dealership will do nothing but offer to have me pay for the new seat cover. Has anyone else ever had this issue?? They already had to replace the instrument cluster glass because there were smudges all over the inside. Very questionable quality. Won't stand behind their product.

I will say that is pretty crappy of Stellantis not to stand behind their product. However, I have a possible solution. If you have a portable/wireless iron, you can use that. You need to make sure that your water reservoir is full and that you have the heat setting on medium/high. Once your iron is heated up, use the steam function to soften the leather. Then in a smooth manner, go back and forth over the wrinkle with the iron. Be very careful around the piping and don't stay in one spot for more than a second or 2. As long as you softened/moistened the area well enough(4-6 button presses), the wrinkle should come out or @ least be less noticeable. Another option would be to reach out to a local dry cleaner with any advice on how to fix it. I work for an automotive manufacturer and the method I gave you is the method we use on our vehicles.

The iron works. Did it on my last vehicle.
However…… I used a damp t towel cloth between the seat cover and the iron. No way was I putti
G an iron directly on the leather. The idea is to wet and dry leather so it shrinks.
This is not permanent. Comes back over time. I went to a shop and they told me it was because leather has stretched. I weigh 180lbs and NO wallet in back pocket.
Try it, OP. It really does make it look better. But PLEASE use a cloth?

Ooopps. Old post. Hope he’s fixed it by now lol

I don't have that issue. Swap 'em out for racing seats, the stock seats suck in most!
Seriously, my stock drivers side always had wrinkles in it too.

Also, my seat slides back on entry for Old Arses’ arses to be more accommodated!
