York.pa car show sunday (Rescheduled to the 28th)

The weather is so hard to predict here. I'm hearing "possible" rain Saturday night and "possible" downpours Sunday morning. It looks like it will clear up late morning here. I'm thinking I should just roll with it and hope for the best. The bad part is we planned to have the actual show on the outfield areas of the ball fields and that aint happening it their soft. I doubt at this point we will have a huge turnout so we could have the show on our main parking lot which is stone and not all that big.
Who plans on still coming if I keep it "on"? Any thoughts?

I understand guys. I think the weather here is actually going to end up okay Sunday after maybe some morning rain. Rob, you are close enough to head down later in the day. ANyone else that dont have to drive hours, come down around lunch time.

I didn't. The weather here didn't clear up till late in the afternoon. I had spent Saturday night at my gf's house...her dad was on night work. They lost power right around 11pm, and didn't get it back till about 1am this morning. So, I needed to be able to tend to the generator to make sure the sump pump was running.

i feel bad for chuck. I didn't think the weather would clear up and my parents offered to come help work on the house so I went with that.

+1 Butch. This past weekend had SEVERAL worth wild events I had wanted to attend! Hopefully they will hold another show next year!

Hey guys, yeah Irene screwed my show but after seeing how she screwed others its hard to sit here and complain. I do plan on trying to make it an annual event and will begin planning next year later. I have been talking to some others and there seems to be some interest in me holding an evening cruise in on Saturday 9/24 from 7-10:30 or so. I think it would be pretty cool and I'll add a trophy category for glow. Any of you available to make it? I will finish puting the pieces together and start a new post tomorrow.
