I run premium fuel and synthetic oil in my 2019 - I have a 32 gallon tank and with my winter 17"'s on I average 875km per tank full in town and highway combined - if I'm all highway the best I got was a smidge over 1,100Km's to a full tank (the wind was probably pushing me :)

With my 20" summers and a set of BFG KO2's (LT285/65R20 - Load Range E) I'll average 700Km per tank full in town and highway combined, and the best I got on all highway was a hair under 900km to a full tank.

Just interested... It sounds like the circumference between your summer and winter tires could well be quite different? If so, do you update your BCM with the correct size each season? Otherwise even with a calculator the tripmeter miles divided by the gallons won't be right.... because the actual miles travelled vs the tripmeter miles will be different... with the result that the mpg will vary simply because the truck is actually traveling further than it knows about with whichever are the larger circumference wheels. (if that makes sense)

Mine is pretty close to actual....varies between 15-17 because I tow at least once a week. 2020 Rebel and I am not light on the pedal.
I also run mid grade only in mine which helps mileage a bit.

I get better mileage with 89 octane then if I burn 87. Enough to make it worth the price difference. Don’t but a truck if you want great gas Mileage

I'm just breaking in and fine tuning my new engine. It's cammed and supercharged with a little over 730 miles on it and I'm almost getting 16 MPG with my foot on the throttle a tad bit. I'm also running 37's with a 3.21 4x4. I'm pleased with that.

13 5.7 qc 3:55 6 speed in summer around 15.5 winter 16mpg. 91 tune, mds turned off in tune. Could get better if I drive the speed limit. If I reset the computer my mpg goes up for a bit, then back to what I posted above.

i bought a used 2014 1500 Big Horn with a 5.7 hemi and I use 87 octane gas in it. My dash computer shows the gas mileage as about 10% better than what I calculate when I divide my miles driven by the number of gallons burned. For example, my "Trip A" readout that was reset when I last filled the tank said I had averaged 19.6 MPG. My hand calculation for the same tank of gas showed that I averaged 17.6 MPG. This has been pretty consistent and the truck always reports better mileage than what I'm actually getting - never worse.

How accurate is your mileage calculator?
I use the app Fuelio to record my mileage and fill-ups. According to the app which dispalys MPG each fill-uo, it seems to be pretty accurate. I average 18mpg combined city/hwy on my 2022 Limited.

Thanks everyone for your responses. It seems my experience is pretty consistent with guys who drive stock 5.7s. I didn't mention that I'm using Michelin X LT A/S tires and that I have a light foot. My mileage has been consistent across several tanks, so it seems that I can just knock 10 percent off what the truck is telling me and that will be very close to the mileage I'm actually getting. By the way, going from Toyo "All Terrain" tires to the Miclelins bumped up my mileage and drastically lowered the amount of road noise. Riding in the truck is now quieter than our two passenger cars.

I have a 2020 Rebel. I get around 10 miles/gal combined driving (not towing). This does not seem right.

I have a 2010 2500 with a hemi and a 373 rear end I get no better than 17 1 all the way down to about 15
If I keep it at 65 I'll maintain 17 one on the highway it's a lone star version
And the only way of course I would get better than 17 is to drive 55 that may become a reality the older I get in the gas prices continuing to rise of course gasoline will go back up after the election

You know, I didn't consider that!, and I'm going to input the correct tire size and 3.21 gearing in and do some better calculating. Thanks for the info!

that is really low, I have a 2015 1500 with 3.55 gears and the 5.7 hemi and I average 14 combined empty.

As I posted on another thread about mpg, I find this interesting to me as a new RAM 1500 owner. I have a stock 2020 Laramie 1500 CC, 5.7 HEMI etorque. Got it in July with a bit over 36K on the clock. Haven’t started a mileage log yet, (didn’t even drive it for a month, as we were out of the country) so have been using only the computer. With that, the computer shows 22-25 for highway/interstate driving and 17-19 around town. I find these numbers surprising good but suspicious to say the least. As I drive it more, the highway numbers have come down some to 20-22 and the town driving hold steady at around 18. I was burning 87 octane but now switched to 89. Hadn’t noticed any change in performance or mileage. My wife likes it a lot, so she drives it whenever she can. Bouncing between us two and our driving style effects the mpg, so I‘ll need to keep two logs. Bottom line, while this mileage discussion is interesting, I didn’t buy a truck for the gas mileage. That’s just a side benefit if it’s there at all. I still like this truck regardless of its gas mileage.
My 2022 Laramie 5.7 averages 19/14. That's being conservative on the pedal. I have seen numbers all over the board in this forum.

'20 Ram Laramie 4x4 Hemi with 3.92 axles, stock 18" size tires (switch to stick size AT tire), 44,000 miles and Snug Top cab high shell:

Bi-weekly 600 mile all highway mix of 2 lane and 4 lane highways. 19 mpg. It never varies more that 3/10 mpg either above or below 19 mpg.

City: No clue since I don't live in a town and I never check it.

Towing: Grand Design Imagine 2500 RL travel trailer, 29.5' total length with a loaded weight approx 7500 lb. Just completed a 3100 mile round trip from CA to Wyoming via I80 thru Nevada and Utah and state Highways in Wyoming. 7.3 mpg to 9 mpg . Checked at each fill up. Varies due to terrain and wind.

Surprisingly enough, my mpg dash reading is only 2% off of my manual calculations. Most of the time it over estimates the mpg. A few times it actually underestimates it.

I wouldn’t believe in these numbers for total accuracy but as’comparison purposes’. A 5% +/- accuracy is normal. After all we are not running the Mobil Economy Run (look it up). If your normal number suddenly drops it’s telling you there’s an issue; plugs, dirty air filter, etc. Don’t believe the numbers to be 100% but a reference to live by. PS-I know someone who won a Cuda from the Mobil contest. It was legit!
