Looking for some suggestions and pic's. I have a 2011 2500 4x4 with a 6.7 / 6 speed manual. I want to change the stock tires to something taller and really not sure of what size I need to go with, the truck is stock. I do use this truck to pull trailers so I'm really not looking to add a 6" lift kit. Just a level kit. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

What cab and bed do you have

A 285/70/17 fits no problem and fills out the wheel well pretty well although they still look small IMO on long wheel base trucks
A 315/70/17 fits but you will have rubbing in the control at full lock which gets annoying when backing up a trailer

Thanks for the information, I wonder if the 305's would rub?
Thanks again for the info as I'm sure this question has been asked. New to the forum.
Thanks again.

I'm not sure 305, I want to say they will
They aren't very common since they're a pricey tire
You could try to find something in a 285/75/17
It's about 34" and 10.5" wide

The 285/75-17 is what I was thinking too

305/70/17's wont rub the fender, but they might barely touch the control arms at full lock. I am running these on my 08 3500, and that is the case with that truck. My 3" lift is coming off in a few weeks, and I will be going with the 305/70/17's on my stock suspension.
