New 2500 Mega Cab

After my 2015 Ram 2500 couldn't get fixed, FCA bought it back. Today was the day I surrendered her to FCA . I drove in with my 15' Ram 2500 CC and drove out with a brand new 17' 2500 Mega Cab sport appearance. The only difference from this new truck and my 2015, is the color matched bumpers, front parking sensors, and the truck being a mega cab. It has everything i want, nothing more, nothing less. It is exactly what I was looking for. Came with spray in Bedliner, 4.10 gears. Paid just under 43k . Funny thing was, they just got the truck a week or two ago.

The only thing I don't like is the stance. It needs a leveling kit with 35s. Can't wait to toss out those ugly 20s and put my 18" fuel vectors back on.

That cab is massive! Perfect for the family for road trips. Can't wait to take her out on one.

I used to move my daughters entire apartment in one trip with my megacab and most of my youth fastpitch softball team to tournaments. Massive amount of space. Attach a 6x12 uHaul trailer and one could move a household, in fact it could probably drag the house along if chained to it.

It was hard to maneuver in parking lots, however, and took some pre-planning on exit strategy. It was the longest wheelbase version. It was so big I had to walk around it preflight just to make sure no compact car was parked beside it and hidden Those little guys seemed to like to snuggle up with it for protection, but then have their bumper torn off as I leave.

The slightly longer wheel base is little more noticeable. Hit couple of curbs when before I would clear em.

I'll take some more pics tomorrow. They won't be the best since the glass to my phones camera is cracked.

I stuck with the Hemi. At first I really wanted the cummins. But the more I read about it, the further drawn I got. Diesel just isn't for me.

The more I look at the truck the more I hate the stance. I really need a leveling kit for this thing.

Sweet ride man. I'm right there with you on the hemi. So many ppl act like its a bad thing but they don't know just how much of a beast it truly is. I have the 8' bed and its definitely a change to driving than a regular box. I just put a level and wheels and tires on mine and it completely changed the look of the truck. Please post pics with your mods

I'm shopping around for leveling kits. I'm looking at coils instead of block.
I'm just wondering if my tires will fit on my dad's 2wd 1500. It'll give me an excuse to get new tired for my fuel wheels sooner. And when I do, I got to get a leveling kit to fit 35s....right.....hahaha
