Hey All,

Just wondering about those of you with 4th Generation Ram 1500s who have a 4" Lift with 35's; how high is your truck overall?

I want to garage my upcoming purchase & just want to make sure that I can fit it into a garage with a 7' door.

Currently my garage door's upward travel limit is about 2" shy of the
7' door opening. So the bottom of the garage door is around 82" from the ground.

If the overall height of the Ram with the 4" lift & 35's is anywhere close to that, I'll have to adjust the upward travel limit to completely clear the door opening.

I have this setup and it is close with the satellite antenna on top. I have a 7' door and Ineed every bit of it. The only modification I had to make was to the radio antenna. Had to cut about two inches off the top.

Yeah it'll be a tight fit. I'm right around 83" with a 5" lift and 35's. That's to the top of the roof, not antennas.

It's the shark fin sat antenna that makes it close or prevents from parking in garage. The older Rams fit fine

Mine has the full navigation package, but the antenna is no longer the shark style.

It's like a rounded off puck that isn't more than an inch in height.

Went over this soooo many times shopping for my lift. Mind was made up on the 4" so I wouldnt have to worry if it fit. Then literally hrs before I purchased my lift, I git the brilliant idea to put a block of wood on my truck thats 7". Drove in and out of the garage multiple times without disturbing the block. My overhead weather strip is right at 83". I have a 2011 CC Big Horn. Front fenders measure 38" with bils set at 2.1, fyi. Id just set something on ur roof an inch or two higher than the lift ur thinking about getting and see if it works. Hope that helps

I too have struggled with this. Want to do a 4"-35's but like parking in garage. I'm still not saying it won't happen, but I can't decide if I want to chance it. Ive parked with my shark fin directly under the door and measured and its be almost touching. Not sure I can chance it.

I just wish my truck would fit in my garage without a lift. I have a 3 car garage that's too damn short to park anything in. The wife's Durango barely is short enough to fit, and actually walk in front of the car. Stupid builders and their short garages.

Thankfully I have a 8' garage door! Love that! Oh man, and 10' ceilings.

I did a friends set of roof lights not too long ago, and didn't even pull the truck in all the way and we had room standing out of the sunroof to still work.

Love that. Also, thankfully I don't have to park anywhere in parking garages. Those are normally 7' as well..

I think a leveled 2500 on 35" is the same as a 1500 on 4" lift/35's..

I hear you! There is a builder out here in Arizona that has taken note to the large garage crowd. Some you have a RV door, so what 15' door?

8' doors, 4 and 5 car garages! some are 40'+ deep!

This was just a 3 car...

Mine was too short as well, but by pulling in & parking on an angle....I fit with a bit of room to spare.

If you have 3 separate bay doors, this will be very tricky for backing out, but if you have one large 16' door & one smaller 8-9' door, it'll be a be of cake.

You'll lose some room in the garage but you'll have more breathing space between your vehicles as well.

Not sure why my 2nd pic loaded sideways.....it's right side up on my computer.
