Carven 5" black tips

I'm loving them, but where are people finding them for $99 ? I've only seen them for $190 on up and that's a little extreme for colored tips,or am I wrong fellows ?

They definitely look awesome. I was going to get them when I bought my Carven exhaust but decided they're just not worth the extra almost 200$ to me.

Every time I've seen a price listed for them it's been $199. Maybe you just misread it somewhere as $99???

The tips are amazing. I haven't seen them below $190. They had a pre order in November that was at $150 but that was the lowest.

Just take your tips off and spray them with some high heat black paint, that's my plan once it warms up. 185$ saved

You mean paint your stock smaller tips???? I think most people like the 5" part.... then they just have to choose chrome or black. Now if you could find 5 inch tips, and still save $185 we would all be impressed!

I agree, the 5" tips fill the cutouts and look a lot better. Could probably buy some cheaper 5" tips and have an exhaust shop weld them on cheaper than 200$. Me personally, I just hate that my whole truck is blacked out and have chrome exhaust tips is why I'm painting them.

This is where I saw them for $99 plus tax and shipping. But again I just noticed this was from 2015 and it was probably the cost for one.

Those were the older design tips and they were $99 preorder and $120 on sale. The since changed the design and material used

Yes I figured they were the older style and that's why the price reflected that. Just not sure if these will fit onto my all Borla catback exhaust.

Does you kit accept the stock tips? If so then yes.

Carven just released some stand alone black tips that can be welded in. Either flat or angle cut

No, my Borla came with 5" tips on them except in chrome. I'm not really feeling that, nor am I willing to spray them black lol. I'll look on their site and see if I can grab a black set and have them welded onto my Borla set up.

Depends on where you go I guess. They will have to expand the exhaust a little for them to be welded on.

I like the Carven tips, but just wished they would use the longer, angled cut tips for the Ram 1500 kit. I think they would look a lot better.

I will get some tomorrow. The depth isn't perfect on them yet. Still messing with that since I changed exhaust today too.
