Researching tonneau's, anyone have any intel on the BAK-flip tonneau covers? I prefer a hard cover over a soft, and looking at these I'm liking the idea. I had a solid fiberglass tonneau on my 03 Frontier and it was kind of a pain to remove and reinstall. This Bak-flip looks like it might just solve that.

I have owned 3. :D

I LOVE my Bakflip! I had a soft cover........hated it. The Bakflip fits the bill for me. Its a very low cover, and folds up when I need access to my bed. I also have a Bakbox in my bed, works GREAT for hauling around....groceries. :D (though it will hold 400 pounds of stuff).

My only complaint on my G2 was that it got hit by falling acorns and it dented it. Bakflip stood behind it, I got a F1..........then sold the truck a month later (DERRRRR). I have a G2 again (cost) and I just remember to not park under that f'n tree when the acorns are falling.

You can't go wrong with the Bakflip. :D

I was looking at the roll ups too, but I think I prefer the bakflip. The roll up srill leaves a little bit of unusable space up front. Thanks for the info, keep it coming.

Cool, thanks for the info fellas. I think I'm going to go with the BakFlip HD or F1 if I can find a deal. I pick up the truck tomorrow. :)

I'd go with the F1 over the HD. If I recall correctly - the HD is a "stronger" material, but the F1 (I know) is a totally different animal - and its strong as hell!

I have a a Trifecta trifold, I bought when my friend was an installer/mechanic at a shop in Miami. He warned me not to buy it, I did and it's been a total POS. I'm buying the roll n lock after my tax returns comes in.

I still haven't decided. I can't justify over $600 for a cover.
