wheel well tool box

anyone know of a good wheel well tool box? would like one in black. Prefer aluminum but steel will work.

been on line for a while but the reviews on even quality brands seem like they're all flimsy and poor quality.

was looking at the swing out (undercover) one but even that seems to have issues.

any suggestions appreciated.

Have you checked out tractor supply? They had the deezee brand but way over priced I think.

I ran my swing cases for 2 years and have had no issues. I have one loaded with tools and the weight hasn't affected the case at all.

I heard the "older" version were significantly better quality than the current ones. Most newer reviews seem to say the exterior design is different and on the newer version, the hinge/plastic junction breaks easily. Not sure when the transition to the current design occurred though.

Had a swing case in my 13 F150, then it moved to my 2015 F250, now it is in my neighbors F150.. Not one problem.. When I had it, it held tie down straps and a bag with air compressor in it..

The older models were a ruff texture and the newer our smooth. I have the newer model and have had no issues.

interesting. I really do like the swing out cases. maybe I'll try one, if it works out, I'll get a second....
