My new Ram does not have Homelink, so I purchased a module off Ebay around $20 or so. I am going to DIY install it myself, and have decided that I want to power it with accessory power if at all possible (thus if car is broken into, garage cannot open without key on). SO, that is where I need a little help. I think I can install it somewhere in the overhead console, but I am not sure about which power lead to tie into to accomplish what I am looking to do. Any help/advice is appreciated from those with any knowledge of the wiring in the overhead console. As an alternative, I would also think about wiring it in another location if someone has tried it and has a better option?
