Exhaust for my 2017 Ram 1500 Night

Hey guys just got the truck, I believe it comes with mopar preformance exhaust, however its nice on start up but too quiet all around.

anyways, back in the day, I had my lighting and I purchased a JDM exhaust which sounded beautiful as seen on this website, except the mufflers were magnapacks.
Dynatech Lightning 5.4L Dual Muffler Cat-Back Exhaust 722-84231

Ok, now I'm thinking about adding a y-pipe from the main exhaust inlet(from the motor) and then the y-pipe dual side into both magnapack mufflers, I believe that this could work and provide awesome sound.

My questions has anyone done this yet? if so point me to the right direction and hopefully want some sound bites. If not im really considering a setup like this to give my truck the mean muscle car sound, still under warranty, however not worried about warranty affecting the exhaust(muffler) in particular.

Let me know what you guys think.

Look up the Carven Progressive and Competition. I will probably be going with the progressive.

I went with a flowmaster series 40 and Carven black tips and I do like the sound but lots of drone. Wishing I went with Carven

I have a magna flow 16869 cat back set up on mine with ARH and an e-cutout. I am gonna look at a Borla muffler next they have a nice sound to them as well. Many run Carven too. Flow master I have read many complain about drone.

Just put a 10 series Flowmaster on my night edition. Love the sound. Not too loud in the cab but comes alive when you get on it.

I have a 2017 I just put the magna flow 18" bolt on and love it. Not too loud but it talks when you step on it. I live in a quiet development so I didn't want loud. Cab is still quiet too

guys thanjs for the responses where can i find the magna flows 14? also the flowmaster outlaw and carven race(smaller) muffler currently have my attention. i like the fact of bolt on function.

Do the carven competitor series(smaller muffler) carry any drone?

I have the Carven Competitor series and the drone is very minimal imo .

Flowmaster American Thunder. Sounds good when in the pedal...min drone and not crazy loud. Sounds like a truck should. I've realized this. All have drone to some extent and factory muffler was designed to "hire" a lot of MDS characteristics. Just what you will put up with to get some better sound over all in my opinion.
