I bought my '14 1500 express back in early april and I'm now about to turn 3000 miles on the factory oil. I plan on switching to synthetic at my first O/C and to use either a RP or the Napa platinum oil filter. Should I change the factory oil at 3000 miles now or wait till I hit 5000 miles?
My '08 1500 hemi I bought used w/ 30k and changed it to synthetic right away and every 5k miles after until I traded it for the '14. I do plan on installing a catch can too.
