Hemifever tune update

Over the past month or so, Hemifever and I have been testing multiple new tunes on my truck, and we have dialed in a few that are running very strong. If you have not received an update from him in the past few weeks, then I highly recommend shooting him an email for a new tune revision. While I was already impressed with his custom tuning, the new tune I am running now is much stronger off the line, and pulls harder across the board. I am not getting any knock retard on his 93 tune with a catch can and 180* thermostat installed, engine and tranny temps are all where they should be, and the drivability just feels better all around.

If it has been more than 2 weeks since he has sent you a tune, go ahead and shoot him an email so that he can send you this newer/stronger tuning. If you already have his tuning, this is a free update

I got my updated tune from him a couple weeks ago too! I can feel a difference in power, especially low end! However my st knock is all over the board. I think part of that is the tuner reading false knock but I've been meaning to send him an email and just haven't had the time! Lol

I briefly looked through your thread about this, and I can understand seeing some knock on the shift, but you shouldn't be seeing that under normal driving. I think you even mentioned that you saw the same readings with an 87 tune while still using 93 fuel, so I doubt the tune has anything to do with the KR you are seeing.

Out of curiosity, have you tried running the stock tune with the Trinity still plugged in to monitor your knock? I wonder if it would show the same readings even on a stock tune file.

Shoot him an email. He has over 2000 hemi customers, so its hard to start going down that list 1 by 1. Just shoot him an email asking for the revised tune, and he will get you taken care of.

Question i just installed my new T1000. I haven't loaded the tune yet but when i use monitoring..some of the gauges go blank for minutes.. like ECT is blank often.

any reason why? is this normal?

Hey Matt, it's Rod.

Sunday night, I think I e mailed to Hemifever, my last tune written, and back up file. My desktop computer is fairly old, and this is my first time with this type of thing. I've not had any problems so far, which I consider a miracle. I'm not sure if my e mail went as planned because, as of 3:00 pm on Tues, I've not heard back from him.

Is Sean that backed up right now, you think? Would you advise that I sit tight for a couple of days, or should I try to send it again from girlfriend's new desktop?

Sean always sends tunes back within 24 hours, so it most likely went to your spam/junk folder. I will get with him to resend it again just in case.

Rod, Sean said he did not receive the email from you, so he is going to resend the instructions email to you right now. Keep an eye out for it this afternoon, and just resend that backup file and last tune written. He will get your new tune back to you as soon as he gets your email.

Great news. My headers will be here tomorrow along with the Vararam and my flowmaster will be here Friday. All of that along with a catch can and TStat will be going on this weekend and hopefully get a tune from Sean early next week!

6.4's are supported now by Diablo as well. We only have a handful of Hemifever tuned 6.4 customers so far, but they are seeing the same great gains that the 5.7 guys are getting.
