Hemifever Tuned!

Well guys I had the opportunity to do some scooting around today with Sean's initial tune. I have to admit when I first installed the Trinity and ran around with the canned tune I wasn't overly impressed, but that was coming directly off of Superchips straight to the Diablo. Installed the custom tune and all i can say is it puts the canned 91 tunes to shame. Truck is more responsive and while I didn't get any 0-60 runs to compare, I did an all out WOT down the on ramp by my house and that verified what I was feeling, the truck just doesn't just feel faster it is faster.
Big thanks to Sean for everything, shipping was super fast and I've gotten both tunes from him the same day I sent the info over. Great guy to deal with.
I'm heading to the dyno the first part of the year so if no one bites on my Flashpaq I'll run their canned 91 tune and the custom one from Sean so we can see what kind of difference there is between them.

I wish 93 was more available here, in fact I don't know of any gas station around that carries it. There is one about 15 miles away that keeps 103 in a pump though guessing could mix it right?

And I'm sure you're dying for a tune with all your mods, that ought to really wake her up :burnout:

yeah i'm in the same boat..... 93 octane isn't available in the Texas panhandle

Hell,
Here in Minnesota it is rare to find 91 that isn't oxygenated, much less 93

and if you have enough performance parts and need more theres plenty of shops thatll have higher octane gas in stock

I wouldn't say all the fast guys are down here in houston, maybe a handful....we do got a bunch of know it all fakes, they know who they are.

You guys are lucky, I guess I could go throw a 1/3 tank of 103 in and fill the rest w 91 and run the 93 tune. Or I could move too, been trying to get the wife to bite on that idea but I must be using the wrong bait.

i think ive seen a chart that says how much of each to mix to do that ill try to find it and maybe thatll help you out

i'm neither. i'm not fast, nor do i claim to be. i still have lots of money to spend, and lots of learning to do before i consider myself a hot shot lol.

but i would like to live down there. lot's of resources in that area

haha trust me its hard not just going with it when all my friends have nothing but chevy and all of them run low 12s high 11s on motor all year long

Bully dog pillar mount showed up today, stupid thing missed the truck by 5 min on Friday when it arrived in CO, so I received the gauge mount Saturday but no pillar mount.
Install is fairly easy, fit is a little eh along the windshield but not horrible.

awesome! ive heard lots of great things about hemifever even took a ride in a buddys truck that has one of his tunes and it really screamed! too bad I just picked up a 2013 so I bet its gonna be a little while for me

Down here in south texas we have 87,89, and 93... I travel around texas alot for work and most gas stations usually all have the same. If you are having a hard time finding high octane gas maybe try the local aiport? We used to head to the airport to mix in some "AVGAS" before heading to the track
