Just tried to update my i2 but it seems I had to update the downloader. It was called Ignition. Is this what every one else with a i2 had to do? I just hope I didn't down load a virus.

Will an update of my I2 screw up the STOCK tune loaded on it or should I return my truck to the stock tune prior to updating my I2??

It would be a good idea to plug your I2 in to your computer and back up your stock tune, just in case.

Doing an update to the I2 should not affect your stock backup tune on the programmer.

Got it all figured out. Also seen that you can make the i2 WiFi enabled. Thats cool cause it makes updating easier.

Same for mine last week. I had to update it a couple of times before it would recognize my 2013 as a supported vehicle. It still wouldn't show any options to modify parameters on any of the tunes, but I paid the extra for a Hemifever tune anyways (which I highly recommend btw - got it through Moe's). I did find that there have been a few people in the last year or so that have had the same issue on the I2 with it not showing any parameters to modify.
