8 Speed, 3.92, l assume. Short Bed, Regular Cab.

Does the added traction of AWD, trump the lighter weight of the 2WD? Remember, you have run stock tires.

What kind of time, are we looking at? 0-60, and 1/4?

There's more variables

Tailgate, spare, seat are there? Running on an empty tank? How many psi in those stock tires? Is that 1/4 done on a prep track or street? DA?

https://youtu.be/RdFKrAenS5Q. Nothing spectacular but happy for stock. Could not hook. Had to leave traction control on rev to about 1500 and just floor it. Have 305 tires now. Vararam and throttle body. Tuner ,PCM, exhaust cutout and stat soon

i would think the lighter would benefit you on a straight run. the awd would be a benefit when having fun out on the street,

I'd be curious to see how a bone stock 13 R/T did against a bone stock 14-up R/T.

In theory the 8 speed truck should be faster, but the 09-13 does have the higher stall converter and lower gears. Mine sticks pretty good at the track on stock tires, whereas I would think the 8 speed would be limited traction.

Without traction control on stock tires spun through 3rd gear. It was street car day no track prep, not very sticky

Thats my main question.......altho this is going to go in all directions....

If the truck is spinnig thru 3rd gear, l think it'd be better off on AWD. The AWD will only send power to the front when the back is loosing traction.

Different stall converters for the older trucks: I did not know... So a good ol '11 with factory 4.10s may do pretty well in comparison.

No theory, the 8 speed is quicker and faster. In the right prep the 8 speeds can cut 1.9X 60's on stock tires with just lowering the pressure some on stock tune.

My 2016 R/T ran a 13.78 @ 98 w/ a 1.91 60' w/ a muffler & intake on stock tires. Not bone stock but close
