Greetings all,
I have a 2001 1500 4x4 ST for which I would like to install new shocks. The truck I believe is stock, but appears to sit high (probably just perception o my part). The rear leafs sit on what appears to be factory spacer blocks which are around 3 inches high. From other things I've read on the forum, this is the stock setup. My question is this: when ordering new shocks, often times particular shock models are differentiated based on an amount of lift that has been applied to the vehicle. So, is this amount of lift beyond that of the factory setup? In other words, do I ignore the 3-inch blocks, or do I order the model shocks that fit vehicles with a 3-inch lift?
Thanks in advance!
