I guess I never posted these but I had time to kill while waiting for our boat tires to be installed on the wheels

Had my heart set on a new exhaust setup but having to reach across the truck to roll down windows and unlock doors countless times the past couple of days has me revisiting the idea of a power windows and locks conversion. At least that way I won't be paying anyone to do work I can do myself

you can do both of those for under $100, and its really not that hard to install, im going to be putting power locks in my black truck but i will never run an aftermarket power window system again

If I decide to go for this I plan on buying brand new regulators then getting most the wiring and door panels from a salvage. I like aftermarket kits to make things easier but I'd rather have an almost-stock setup for windows and locks just because if I ever get the itch for remote start, I would at least have an idea of where to go with all the wiring. The problem I'm worried about is where to splice into the main harness. I figure as of now run to the keyed 12v and call it a day

You'll want to run the power locks to constant. That's how they function stock in any vehicle.

Nice. Where did you get it? Price? Mine is faded and broken.

Found it on Amazon, genuine Mopar part, comes complete with everything needed to install as a replacement, or on a tailgate that didn't have one originally. I paid $95.30.

Ordered front and rear move bumpers and my fender flares arrived. Headlights still on the way. Can't wait to start some projects!

Oh yeah my mistake, I mean run the windows to a keyed 12v and the locks to a constant 12v. I was half asleep while I was typing lol

Went to a car meet. Saw a dodge ram, not my cup of tea but still pretty cool. Seems a lot smaller when that low to the ground. cdfa10b7a49401aabd3e8b5c46896df8.jpg

Got the majority done, at least enough to put the bed back on. I’ll get the bottom of the frame and the differential with a vehicle lift so I don’t have to wire brush everything on my back 8fd1f8408a60f2785d190588bfc4f512.jpg

Well I went to the dark side and reverse leveled the truck. I decided to change up the look alittle and here we are. I used maxtrac 2” greaseable shackles and removed the overload spring. Also installed Bilstein 5100 shocks in the back. I can definetly feel a difference in the ride height and smoothness, this thing rides like a Cadillac now!
